BLANCO FWDs are hygienic, clean and very convenient when it comes to disposing of leftovers quickly and easily. They cut down the amount of waste in the organic waste bin and so reduce the growth of bacteria and the likelihood of pests and unpleasant odours. They also lower the amount of material sent to landfill sites.

Compact system, major impact

The BLANCO FWD is installed directly beneath the sink and grinds food waste so finely that there is no risk of the pipes becoming blocked. The FWDs are similar to standard grinders, but they don’t have knives or blades. All of the moving parts within the appliance are blunt. The system is conveniently controlled from the top of the sink at the touch of a button – the air switch.

All that is needed for the perfect grinding process is cold water from the tap. The rinsing that occurs during the grinding process also means that the device requires little additional care.
